Vagabond Inn Santa Barbara - Carpinteria North

Compared with other Motel 6s I’ve stayed at this one is certainly one of the nicest. Unfortunately there was no hot water in our room but the staff were kind & refunded us a chunk of the slightly over-inflated cost of the room.

This was a nice clean facility, and all the employees we dealt with were very pleasant. One suggestion is that when you stay here stay on the opposite side of the freeway otherwise it gets loud..

It is a clean place but don’t expect too much. The rooms are small and the shower is tiny. It is good for two people not more.

Decent room, good access, decent bad, noise fair it depends where you are.

Requested a quad room with two queen sized beds for four adults and when we arrived at hotel, I was told they only had full sized beds in the quad rooms. The room was so small the beds were push up against the walls leaving only a narrow walkway between the beds! You could only access the beds on one side or crawl over the end. Absolutely the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I cannot believe this would meet code or fire marshal standards. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable!!
