The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh

We were only able to stay one night - due to it's having ben fully booked for the nights prior to our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted, speedily, efficiently, and shown to our delightful, characterful room. Both our evening meal and breakfast were excellently cooked and served. We found all the young staff to be pleasant, friendly and efficient. We would recommend the Cross Keys to anyone and shall certainly be staying there again . Our only reservation is the absence of convenient parking nearby. But the free parking that is available is not too far away for able-bodied folk. But then this is not a property for people with mobility problems, as the access to the rooms is only via a steep narrow staircase.
