Loved it here, would definitely stay again. Cute little historic pub right in the heart of the action in Merchant City

I was up in Glasgow for a night, it was a bed; I was hoping to be able to iron my shirt, a chair and desk to do some work. The continental breakfast was lacking not much choice. The staff were great and very friendly. It was convenient for what I was doing, however it was expensive for what you got. It should have been marketed as a pub with rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was ideal and free onsiite parking was a bonus. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were clean and decorated in a quirky style, the only minus was the shower. The bathroom was really modern but was let down by the shower which had no pressure so was difficult to wash and rinse hair and get a good wash.

We've had a drink in the bar a few times before, and always enjoyed it - so I was delighted when the best deal I could get for a room the night of a Take That show was here. When we booked it said our room was small - and it was, however it was lovely. Spotlessly clean and very well laid out. The bar has a great atmosphere, the food is really nice and the staff are fabulous.

Great location, friendly staff, nice modern room at a good price. Food available in pleasant bar downstairs. Close window at night or noise from early morning bin collection will be an issue.
