Borneo Kinabatangan Lodge

This is a beautiful and very peaceful private cabin with its own bathroom. It seems to have opened only about three weeks ago, so there were very few guests. Pros: The room is spacious and comfortable. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. You can enjoy the sunrise and moonrise, and occasionally see monkeys in the trees. Very good value for money. At a similar price, other lodges may only offer shared accommodation, while this lodge provides a private room for one person. Things to note: The lodge currently does not have its own kitchen, so meals are served at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort across the river. The staff told me that the two lodges are operated by the same owner. The staff provide boat transfers across the river whenever needed. If you enjoy peace and quiet, you will probably really like this place. However, if you prefer a more lively atmosphere and meeting lots of other guests, this lodge may not be the best choice, as it has only a small number of rooms. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. My guide, ***, was very professional and patient, and I could really feel how passionate she is about her work. She helped me spot many animals and beautiful birds that I would otherwise have missed. It was definitely a memorable experience and well worth the trip!
