Hotel Salina

I was upset about the issue I had with my service animal and the deposit of )100 they wanted. They settled for $50 but I was still really pissed off. But non the less. I like the place and the staff and location and the rate is decent.

I have a service animal and front desk gave me a really hard time trying to charge me a $100 deposit. He brought it down to $50 after I started crying. I have a service animal. But the place is good. I’d stay here again.

Great hotel, friendly staff.

No microwave in rooms, tv didn’t work, electricity went out for hours, then as I’m trying to check out, the healthy looking older woman, sees me, throws her hands up in the air and disappears. I’m knocking and saying “hello”???? I’m trying to check out. She won’t come out. I see the older man, he decides he wants to come to the room, make sure everything is in order. You know, like the fine art work and crystal ware are all still there, then goes to the bathroom and just stands there. I ask him if everything is ok, he nods his head. Then he proceeds to go to the window and close it and set the shutters in a certain direction. I tell him, what are you doing?? I hav e to go, you can do all this after you have returned my $50 deposit. He say, ok, hold on. I sat, NO! I have to go, what a nightmare it has been staying here. He mumbles something, gives me my deposit and I leave. Ugh!!! And that smell. That smell that permeates , I can’t stand it. As soon as I smell that smell, I know it’s time to go and not stay there.
