Waterfront Hotel

The staff were very nice, the breakfast was lovely and the rooms were ok. There were quite a few bits of building that needed some TLC - the shower on 2nd floor was hot OR cold. The toilet on this floor needs a new floor and better lock. bathroom on 1st floor was decidedly iffy. The TV signal was great on first night but couldn’t watch it on 2nd night. Mirror held up with crooked screw that was falling off wall. BUT the bed was comfy and the price for two nights was reasonable. I’ve stayed in it a few times when it was called the Beachbrow and still have fond memories of its quirkiness. Miss the residents lounge with its telescope though. Best bit is it’s very handy for town and right opposite beach.

Hotel very run down and in need of investment. Great situation - could be wonderful with lot of money spent on it. Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and thoughtful, but hampered by facilities they were offering. Would not recommend

We stayed here for a night so we could explore Deal. The staff were all very nice and the breakfast we had the following morning was lovely. We had bottled water and plenty of tea and coffee in our room. We slept really well. It is a great place to stay for a base.

Hotel has a great location and the breakfast was fab. Staff brilliant had a space on day of checkout to hold our bags so we could carry on exploring the local area

Pooky is the room,shower,stains on the carpet,but the breakfast was excellent.the bed mattress needs changing but amazingly we slept really well.
