We got stuck at Lake Tahoe due to road closures so we booked this overnight stay while we were at iHop. It did not disappoint. Room was spacious; Staff were helpful; Will definitely come back

We booked a couple of hours before arriving at the hotel. Agoda offered a great deal and when we checked in we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade. Our 12th floor room balcony had terrific views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains which was thrilling. We enjoyed the evening in the hotel casino. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept ever so soundly. Pulling back the curtains to the spectacular Lake views next morning was such a delight. The classic rockstar photos in the room, the corridors and the door brought back special memories of youth. Our room featured Pink Floyd, one of our all time favorites. The only downside of the hotel was the ongoing renovations but it didn’t really affect our lovely stay. We will return again.

Have to pay for parking even though you paid for the room, parking should already be included

First, let me say they’re undergoing a renovation so they deserve a little grace. However, I waited in line 40 minutes to check in and while the reservation agents were excellent under pressure the line never shrank until hours later. While my room had a very comfortable bed. It did not have a refrigerator or microwave. There were two bottles of water on the table with a warning that they were offered at two dollars apiece. Ice machines were not available on every floor ,so you may have to travel up or down to build your ice buckets. On a cool morning, I tried to turn up the heat and noticed a sign below the thermostat that said the hotel could not provide heat and cooling at the same time and if we were hot or cold the directions were to either open a window slightly or request a space heater. Tabletop surfaces were dusty enough to write my name on and several small spiderwebs were wedged up on the ceiling. My bathtub had one or two orange wear spots, which were very unappealing that said, the staff was uniformly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The areas where he renovation has been completed look comfortable and inviting. maybe it just needs time but it’s not there yet.

Our room was satisfactory but the shower wouldn’t get hot, so cold shower the first day. They sent maintenance up to fix it but the next days shower got hot then cold then hot. The gym smelled like must so too unpleasant to get a workout in. They took off the resort fees, but still not as good of an experience I was expecting/hoping for
