Hopefully it isn’t always like this, but it took 50 minutes for the front desk staff to check us in. Our rooms, despite being cold, were quite humid. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The power went out at least twice during the one night we stayed. The location was decent, for the price of the rooms; a 7-10 minute drive from the heart of Downtown. The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were clearly busting their butts, and visibly working very hard, but the breakfast was still sub-par, with rubbery eggs and undercooked biscuits.. Additionally, though the rooms were quite clean, the towel rack in our bathroom was falling off of the wall, and the bathroom fan did not work. Overall, I will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Exceptional
I love this place. The staff is great, the breakfast is beyond comparable,and the rooms are lovely. And the price is lower than most seedy motels in town. Definitely the place to be in KC. And highway access in front of the motel. What more could you ask for?

Under a bit of construction redoing hallway flooring in our building. Nice new furniture in the room. Negative are shower gets just warmer than cold and a strong smell in our room. It smells like cat urine honestly, some air freshener had been sprayed prior to or arrival but lost it’s effectiveness. :( A lot potential if those two basics were covered.
