Was waken up at 7 something in the morning by the super loud noise made by the trolley (as shown in the pic) and people talking. I thought it was some construction work going on. The room was totally not soundproofed. Yet, we couldn’t close our window because although the booking app stated that conditioners are provided, none could be found in the room. A fan was provided instead. As it was only 21 to 23 degree Celsius at night, we were able to sleep comfortably. The bathroom light would go out automatically while we were having a shower. We tried to create some dramatic movements but still the detector didn’t work. We turned on our torch using our phones in the following nights. The staff were all helpful and polite. Restaurants and destinations are within walking distance. Pity that the place just didn’t live up to the standards (as shown in the pics).

We were welcomed by very helpful and friendly staffs, the location is convenient to go to most of the places. But my friend, who is quite sensitive to noise, cannot sleep well at night because of the noises on the street after 11:00 PM and the room is not absolutely sound-proofed

The roads leading to the hostel were rough and the reason I lower my rating in the location department

Such a disappointment. Great location and the staff are really nice. But everything mentioned is closed or under renovation. They even moved their main entrance to an alley with trash bins and parked cars so it's difficult to enter/exit the place. The pool is tiny and filthy. No terrace, no common area to socialise, not even coffee or drinking water, or even a cup or spoon available. Avoid this place!

This was once a Selina, and the place perhaps need a little bit of work to get back to the previous standard, such as the work area, social events and a few small details, but generally is still a great hostel and still has the pool and rooftop bar. The staff in particular are very nice, and the location is great.
