Staying in Bandar Muadzam Shah brings back sad memories of a car crash about 15 years ago that killed my late grandmother and involved other family members. I stayed at a budget hotel around here back then, but I cannot remember its name. Hotel Anjung is clearly a budget hotel with an 80s vibe. It is very basic, which fits its budget status. The cleanliness is acceptable, but the comfort is a bit lacking. There was no study desk, so I had to do my online training session yesterday while sitting on the bed. The staff were nice and friendly. Parking was easy, and the hotel is right next to a TMG supermarket and many restaurants, so finding food was effortless. The only big issue was that all the power outlets in my room were broken. I could not charge my phone or laptop inside. I had to charge them outside the room next to the water cooler. It is tolerable for a short stay, but it would be really annoying for a longer visit. Overall, Hotel Anjung is fine for a short stay, especially for solo travelers who do not mind basic facilities.
