The building is old and quirky hence it's name, however the room is in dire need of refurbishment. Bathroom is clean but tiling on the floor is cracked, dull decor, home made extension lead tacked around the ceiling to provide power to the tv along with the aeriel in the same manner. Limited plug sockets to use as they're fixed directly on top of boxing along the skirting area thus preventing a plug being inserted. Pictures on the website do NOT represent in anyway the room. The room was exceptionally cold and I had to request a heater as there is literally no form of heating in the room. Having said that, any contact with staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choice was good but disappointing that they don't have restaurant facilities for an evening meal.

Accommodation for Lindon concert
The room was ‘tired’ but very clean, it was in a good location near a tube station / local high street snd the staff were very friendly and courteous. It was good value for money with free guest parking and I will use it again.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Last week I paid 50% more at Best Western, and they didn’t even have a fridge in the room, nor a microwave anywhere!

Bar closes even if you are a resident. Staff Great. Breakfast POOR & not value. Hash browns were fried twice. (Re-Fried) problems cooking eggs for more than one customer. Room #2 need power points or usb near the head of the bed. only place available for phone power was over from bed. Room#3 could hear everything from the bar below. parking was free but enter the car details. they were doing hotel maintenance and had electric wood saws near the windows screeching at 7am on a weekday. be careful on the harry potter stairs. :)

I liked it a lot. It must be amazing in the summer when they have their garden decorated.
