Ox Hotel Spean Bridge

We booked this mainly as an overnight stop before exploring Glenfinnan and heading towards Aviemore, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable and much better than we anticipated after reading some reviews online. Parking was easy, check-in was smooth and it provided a convenient location for exploring the Highlands. The only downside is that dining options nearby are limited, so it's worth planning ahead. Paul at the reception was awesome. He helped me with places I must see. Overall, it's a great value base and the rooms are better than some of the luxury ones. I wish I had stayed more at this place.

At under *** for the night, we were pleasantly surprised that all our needs were met. The staff are lovely and we had a better night's sleep than the night before which was a hotel at *** for one night. We would stay here again.

It’s a basic room, with a King Size bed + 2 bunk beds. All basic facilities were there, however seemed a bit pricey for the charges.

The location is very convenient, being close to Fort William, Ben Nevis, and Loch Ness. We stayed for two days and were able to travel around easily. The chalet is spacious for a family of four, and essentials were provided. Parking was also convenient, and the chalet was comfortable with heating and everything we needed. The host was very helpful and quickly sorted out an issue with the bed sheets, which we appreciated. A few things could be improved for an even better stay — the bathroom could have been cleaner, some cups seemed not properly washed, the bed sheets felt used rather than fresh, and the shower curtain was a little old

Stayed at a chalet for one night to continue my journey, friendly staff, basic and clean, comfy bed, heater warms really quick, with all the essentials, there’s was a small frigo, cold and really hot cooked breakfast.
