Capitol Zentrum - 24h -

Being a 5 minute walk from the train station, not far to reach the old town and the lake makes this a superb location. The bus station is conveniently right outside the train station. Always e-scooters and e-bikes for hire too. Great transportation options! Plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets within a 10 min walk. The hotel is fully automated. Front door (located on LEFT SIDE street) is only locked late night to early morning. If you arrive early, there are free lockers on 2nd floor. Check in after 14:00 via the machine at the front door for your key card and that's it! To check out, open the cabinet below the check in machine, pull out the drawer, open the hatch and drop your card in. Simple! The room I was in (29) had a motorised roof vent window. Cool option to have! Also included a fridge, desk w/chair, kettle and TV. No wardrobe or drawer cabinet; just shelving and an open clothes rack pole. Bedside gooseneck reading lamps are a nice touch too. Bed was comfy enough but the pillows were almost useless. No support and they just cave right in. Everything was pretty clean overall. Only negatives were a lack of power outlets where you can actually use them. Also, the shower was almost useless. It was added to an ersatz Jacuzzi style tub. The holder wasn't able to keep the shower head in place. Looked like it was broken and the setting knob was stripped. Not pleasant! There's also a lead down step from the tub. VERY SLIPPERY!! The entire bathroom floor was slippery too but beware that first step off the tub. I'd definitely stay here again but I'd try a different room. Hopefully one where the shower bits are in working order!

All good, great location and value for money

No thrills automatic hotel. Check-in via machine by entrance. Poorly designed shower making everything inevitably wet, horrible sound-proofing, some other poor design choices, but overall all is OK.

But in this warm weather fan was not enough that was very slow and small. Although rest was perfect.
