This place is great if you want to get off the beaten trail a little bit. It's in a beautiful location, and there are enough cafes and stores around to get what you need. Great vibe for a solo traveler; the common space facilitates a lot of socialization if you want that. I enjoyed the company of many other foreigners during my stay. If you like socializing in a quieter more intimate atmosphere, this place is wonderful. Keep in mind you're an easy thirty minutes from Sapa proper. I was under the impression it was half that distance, but that's my fault. Grab motorcycle to Sapa around 80-90k dong, car maybe 250k.

The staff are soo cuteee and helpful Its so clean , and they do really take care of you + the view is horrible

I booked a relatively last minute flight to Hanoi, and I instinctively knew I wanted to jump straight into nature. Forget Sapa, Ta Van village is where you want to be if you want to immerse yourself with a taste of rural living. This homestay offered me just the break I needed: the rooms were just perfect. My window was directly facing the mountains and rice fields. The owner Bien was so friendly and kind. He offered all kinds of help I could need as a solo traveller. Not to mention he was such a great cook, I'll never forget the pork belly with rice. That was amazing. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The property is new and well-furnished. The layout of the homestay allows you to make friends with guests easily. The only downside was perhaps the location within Ta Van: getting around on foot was great during the day but could get dangerous at night with dogs roaming around. However, if seclusion is your thing, I'd highly recommend this place. I'll definitely return when given the chance!

Step Outside Into Paradise: Views, Food, and Culture. We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay here. The room was perfect, clean, and offered stunning views throughout the day. It is so peaceful and serene. A huge bonus is the host's cooking—the meals were delicious, meaning we never had to leave for dinner or lunch. Breakfast was definitely a bonus! The location in the heart of Ta Van Village is ideal for trekking, and it's an easy 15-minute walk to authentic herbal baths and cozy cafes. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
