What's good? Close proximity to Mallalli waterfalls and the view is great. You can visit Mallalli waterfalls early in the morning when there is no crowd and chill. They provide tasty food and the price is reasonable. Caretakers are friendly, helpful and responsive. What's bad? I visited in peak monsoon, the private road to the stay (about 300m) is in bad condition, any non off-road vehicle will struggle, especially on the climb-up. Nearest town (Somwarpet) is 40 mins away. Rooms are not very clean. Has limited power supply - I tried to charge two laptops at the same time and the lights started to flicker. WiFi also isn't stable. Conclusion: Not a great place for a romantic getaway or working remotely. It's good for groups who want to have drinks, enjoy campfire and chill.
