ANANDAVANAM

Very comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and always willing to assist. Food was delicious. Overall EXCELLENT.

As a group of 6 people we stayed in 3 rooms for 2 nights. The staff was polite and lunch/dinner was included in our stay. Food was delicious, home-made taste and served with lot of love. On the last day of our checkout they allowed us late checkout as one of our family members was ill. They also let us take some breakfast for her though breakfast was not included in our stay. Booking taxi to Sarnath or airport via reception is easy. One of the room given to us had insects (houss crickets) and bathroom fixtures were all broken so for 2nd night they changed our room. Overall cleanliness of the hotel, eating place, rooms, bathrooms could be improved a lot. Location is a major turn off. Its located in narrow and dirty lane and only auto can come there. The roads leading to main road were full of dirt, shit, stool. They were utterly filthy and extremely dirty. Very narrow lanes and even difficult for autos to ride through them. For staff and food taste I will say yes but due to location and bit of cleanliness I would say no.
