One of our worst hotel booking experiences was here. This was the only hotel that popped up on Agoda or else would have never booked this place! We had booked the 'Standard Room' which was listed as having AC in Agoda as seen in the screenshot. Before reaching Chikkabalapur, we get a call from one Mr. Reddy saying that we will have to pay more (Rs 900 extra and forgo complementary breakfast), than what was pre-paid via Agoda, if we have to confirm our stay. This itself were warning signs of unprofessionalism. We agreed as we had no option but to and arrived at the hotel. When we arrived, we were informed that we had booked non-AC rooms. This caught us off guard as we had booked the 'Standard Room' which has AC as listed on Agoda. Mr. Reddy was adamant AC was not included and said we would have to pay Rs 1000 extra to get AC rooms. This is pure extortion and since we were helpless we had no option but to give in as were extremely tired. Once we got into our rooms the condition of the rooms was beyond shocking. There were visible strands of human hair on the linen bedsheets and pillows which completely grossed us out. There were no complementary bathing soap/liquid and no hand-wash gel near the basin. The bathroom was also in an equally pathetic condition as seen in the pictures. The bucket and mug provided was slimy and not clean. The furniture was dusty and broken and as we were only spending a night there, we decided to adjust as we did not want further confrontation with Mr. Reddy. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone coming to Chikkabalapur. The proprietor Mr. Reddy is unprofessional and the rooms are DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Denied for breakfast
Hotel staff denied to give breakfast which was included with room booking and I want to complain about it.

Acceptable
There is bar next to the hotel and this hotel staff are always in drunkard. Not at all recommended for families and the beds are unbelievably pathetic, worst cushion and bedsheet I haven't seen such type of bedsheet in my total hotel visits, worst Standard rooms means No AC Which agoda should mention it clearly For a non AC room the price is baseless

Good place for a highway stop over night stay or someone wanting to stay at Chikkaballapur. Value for money and simple clean place, good location off the highway
