TIMBER, Luxury Bamboo Cottages by Alaya Stays

Had a really lovely stay at this bamboo cottage. The property is huge, beautifully maintained, and very clean. There’s a pond within the property, along with trails where you can take a jungle walk or stroll through the farms nearby. It’s such a serene and peaceful place — perfect if you’re looking to get away from the usual hustle and just relax in nature. The hospitality was really good. The staff were warm, helpful, and always around whenever we needed anything. The food was also quite good, which made the stay even better. Overall, it’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and spend some quality time away from the city. Definitely felt like it was **totally worth it** and would love to visit again. A couple of things to keep in mind — the approach road isn’t the best, so you’ll have to bear with it, although it is drivable. Also, since we visited during the monsoon, there were quite a few mosquitoes and bugs around, so definitely carry a good bug/mosquito repellent.
