We stayed at the Burghotel starting on December 24th, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Rothenburg. We cannot recommend this place highly enough—everything was perfect! Exceptional Service from the Start: We arrived on Christmas Eve, and since it was a holiday, there were no taxis available at the train station. We were quite worried, but the hotel's son was kind enough to come and pick us up personally. It was an absolute lifesaver and such a warm welcome to the city. Heartwarming Hospitality: Throughout our stay, Herr Otto was incredible. He was always around, genuinely caring for the guests and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. His personal touch and attentiveness made us feel so at home; it was truly special to experience such sincere hospitality. Breakfast with a View: The breakfast here is a must-experience. The atmosphere in the dining area is wonderful, and the view overlooking the valley is simply breathtaking. Starting our morning with such a stunning panorama and delicious food was a dream come true. Summary: Thank you, Herr Otto and your son, for making our Christmas stay so memorable. If you are looking for a place with history, heart, and the best views in Rothenburg, this is it. We will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel Good location Staff is very helpful

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite — the place was very clean and had a charming vintage atmosphere. Every corner was beautifully decorated, and we were truly impressed. It was a wonderful and unique experience. The staff were lovely, and the owner personally took care of guests, which was very touching. Highly recommended for travelers who want to experience living in a beautifully preserved, historic setting.
