I’ve stayed twice now, once with my dad and once with my brother. I live in Nepal and they came to visit. Both were absolutely awed and charmed by the hotel. The rooms are massive and beautifully furnished. The hotel is not some plain and sterile hotel room to be found anywhere in the world: rather murals hide in corners, patchwork quilts, and recycled antique newari furniture are at every turn. The hotel also is trying to be ecologically sound with refillable soaps and shampoos instead of individual plastic bottles, refilled bottles of purified water in your room and a tank of purified water on every floor to fill your own water bottle. The restaurant food is delicious and the breakfast makes it all worth getting up in the morning. The location is a bit tricky to find as it’s not on the main square but it also means it’s much quieter at night. Plus, the ten minute walk to Durbar square isn’t bad at all. The staff are eager to help and extremely friendly. All in all a charming hotel that gives everything it’s got. I plan to stay here again the next time friends come to visit and may even come for a weekend “staycation” when I need a bit of pampering on a budget.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Heritage in Bhaktapur, Nepal, located at MC9G+32P Bhaktapur. I stayed in room 301, which provided an authentic antique experience, complete with a television that was over 30 years old. The hotel's ambiance is steeped in history, offering a unique glimpse into Nepalese culture. The traditional architecture and decor create an immersive experience that transports guests back in time. The staff at Hotel Heritage were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was clean and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel's commitment to preserving its historical charm while providing modern amenities. The on-site restaurant served delicious local cuisine, allowing me to savor authentic flavors without leaving the premises. The hotel's proximity to Bhaktapur Durbar Square made it convenient to explore the city's rich heritage. Overall, my stay at Hotel Heritage was a delightful journey into Nepal's past, and I highly recommend it to travelers seeking an authentic cultural experience.

Before my arrival, the hotel responded promptly to my emails and confirmed my reservation details, which gave me confidence and peace of mind. During my stay, I appreciated the attentive service from the staff. One example that impressed me was receiving a phone call during dinner time to check whether I needed dinner assistance. It showed that the staff paid attention to their guests rather than simply waiting behind the front desk. I also appreciated the quick assistance whenever I had a request. The team was responsive, professional, and courteous throughout my stay. The atmosphere of the hotel matched the character of Bhaktapur very well. Staying here allowed me to experience not only the historical surroundings but also the calm atmosphere of the city in the evening and early morning. After check-out, I realized that I had forgotten my invoice. The hotel responded quickly and kindly to my request for a copy, which was greatly appreciated.
