I booked a room at this place for a one-night stay after arriving by train from Hua Hin and before continuing onward to Ko Tao; it is located roughly half-way between Chumphon railway station and the pier to the islands, and was quickly reached with a Grab taxi. It's a bit remote, but benefits from a cosy restaurant just across the road and a decent breakfast spot 5 mins along the road. The lady "welcoming" me handed me the key to my room the moment I got out of the cab, showed me the direction to the room and wandered off, which I found a bit peculiar. The gentleman (owner?) who I dealt with afterwards made up for it, however, by being very polite and helpful, organising a bus pickup to the pier for me for the next morning. The room was spacious with a huge fridge and decent amenities. There was a bit of an ant issue in the bathroom, they showed up as I had a banana peel in one of my bags. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and I'd use the place again for the same situation.

Great little place @ fantastic price. Lovely large, clean room, comfy bed, AC and small porch to sit and enjoy the outside. Great value for money. Based opposite the best local restaurant, we ate here every day were stayed.... trying different dishes every night. To note, the DIVE resort that is associated with this place, is no longer based here.... but its a stone throw from the slow overnight boat that goes to Koh Tao. I'd recommend staying here if you need the ferry/ or actively want to be in a quieter place out of town. 15mins out of town via car/ bike. You will need transport though and make sure you pick up snacks etc on route as there really is not much around the area. Ben, the manager/ owner is a lovely friendly guy and was very helpful to us. Nice, clean, hotel, closer to airport than staying in downtown chumphon

Real nice quiet place only 20min drive from ferry. Real good riverside restaurant Cross the street. Hotel is very clean, not old, nice style, big fridge, big bed, all good.
