The hotel is clean, located at the fringe of the central Taiping opposite Shell and a mosque. We got a room in the old wing facing away from the traffic and mosque prayer calls which was great for our rest. The room itself was also very clean and had nice fancy rainbow LEDs and had a great view of the mountain. But we encountered 3 issues that caused disappointment; parking space was street parking first come first serve beside a road that was not sufficient for guests and the valet/ staff were not helpful on that. Secondly the reception missed quite a few crucial details during check-in; they did not activate our room key for the entire duration of our stay, causing us to get locked out, and they did not upfront explain and collect the full required taxes needed to be paid, causing us to encounter surprise charges only at check out, which was not very nice. Thirdly, the pool which was supposed to be segregated by gender, had a man hogging the space meant for the female patrons of the pool (plus the female had only 1 pool, whilst the males had 2 pools), which made me feel very uncomfortable to use the female pool because of the man's presence in the female pool space despite the signs stating it's meant for females. I did not feel safe.

Ok Pricing but Noisy
Not suitable for someone who needs a quiet room to sleep. Its near to the road and the windows cannot shut properly and causes it to be quite noisy.

Fantastic stay!
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel's central location made it so easy to explore the city. The room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended!

GREAT ACCOMMODATION
The best budget hotel ever , from receptionist to breakfast buffet all come in great shape . Recommended Great for family as well . The pools also very clean . Please maintain your standards
