Other than being conveniently located close to the airport, it is a dive!

We only stayed for about 6–7 hours since we needed a place to rest before our flight back to Manila and somewhere to leave our things while we went to the pasalubong center. The location is very convenient—just 3–4 km from Tacloban Airport and right along the main road where you can easily catch a jeep or van to the airport. You can also take a jeep from the hotel to the pasalubong center, which is also just a short ride away. The rooms are clean but quite old—you can definitely see and even sense the age of the hotel, so it may not be the best option for long-term stays. Still, it served its purpose well for a short rest. The staff are accommodating, though not always present at the reception desk, which can make it a bit difficult to ask questions.

I recently had a great stay at Cielo Vista Bed and Breakfast. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby shopping options. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout our stay. The property was well-maintained and clean despite its age. While the facilities were decent, there is room for improvement in terms of amenities. Overall, considering the value for money, I would definitely recommend Cielo Vista for a pleasant and convenient stay.

If you’re looking for a place near the airport, this is a great option. It’s affordable, clean, and quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. However, the shuttle service was a bit misleading as it didn’t actually exist. I tried contacting them through their phone numbers and Facebook page before booking to inquire about it, but received no response, and their phone numbers didn’t work. Additionally, there were no staff at the counter in the morning, so I had to leave the key there and let myself out.
