There are 3 types of bungalows here, the best one in my opinion are the 3 bungalows upstairs, with only a fan, no air conditioning (so they are a bit hot) but with a very nice sea view. You have a fridge, that is positive. Mattress is hard.

Lovely couple run the place. Right in front of the beach. Pristine clean and comfy bed.

Me and my partner loved staying at Baan Tidlay! It’s a bit out of the centre so it’s nice and quiet. It’s situated right on the water with a stunning view of limestone rocks, however the sea is not suitable for swimming. Most the beaches, shops and restaurants are a 15-20 ride away, so scooter is definitely needed. The bungalows are simple but have everything you need, cleaning was every 3 days. The lady running the homestay was so lovely and friendly. We loved Koh Yao Yai, if you’re looking for a quieter escape in Thailand this island is perfect.
