TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao – Adult only

We loved the exclusive location overlooking the amazing Phang Nga bay, and the villa outside was incredibly spacious and nicely designed. The activities were wide ranging and very well organised, we really enjoyed the kayaking and James Bond island trip, and the elephant trip. The lunch and dinner options were wide ranging and tasty. Breakfast was good although not as much variety as lunch and dinner. Complementary drinks in the villa were very well appreciated A few points to consider to improvement: Service was friendly and helpful, but perhaps not always up to the polished and experienced standard of other 5* hotels in the area (but we understand most of the staff are locally based and being trained) Spa - I would say we had a mixed experience overall, some very good massages/treatments, other less so, depending on which member of staff you were allocated. Beach area - feel like this could we improved with a service from the main bar/sundowner bar. And somebody there to provide towels and water etc Tide - whilst completely unavoidable, low tide does spoil the view somewhat

This island doesnt have the beat scenic view compared to other islands around the south of Thailand. High price but smelly sea

We had our honeymoon in this resort. Food is amazing and even the spa staffs were very good. Beautiful and tastefully decorated huts. Really enjoyed our stay until the end when an issue happened with slippers. Usually in all hotels we go to indoor slippers given to clients are thrown after usage (due to hygiene). We had taken our slippers with us only to be stopped at check out by the staff (who was a very nice talkative woman at first) and they made us open our luggages to give the indoor slippers back. The approach to dealing with this whole issue was very very unprofessional. The first image you get is that the place puts a lot of emphasis on professionalism with attire but it was surely lacking on the area of customer approach and manners. Them wanting my used slipper makes me think that it will be reused. I however do not personally find this hygienic. I thought it was a touch given to clients and I would never have worn them had I known that they were used by others. This is the only disappointment we faced. I would have returned next year for our stay but I would no longer go due to the humiliation faced. However overall great place and they paid a lot of attention to details in their presentation etc

朝、日の出で自然に目覚めて、昼過ぎまで日光の下で遊び、午後から部屋のプールでクールダウン。夜は海を間近に感じながら素敵なディナー、という日々を過ごしました。 スタッフのホスピタリティーも高く、客層のクオリティーもゆとりのある方ばかりで快適そのもの。 唯一、シャワーとバスタブに関して給湯が不安定だったのが残念でした。 サービスに対する料金については、インドネシアやベトナムにおけるリゾートホテルを含む物価その物がタイを上回るコストパフォーマンスなので、星4つになってしまいました。

We had a very special time. Lovely place with great atmosphere. The staff made the experience extra special. Location, environment, activities and food.. wll was amazing. Definitely a must visit place abd we look forward to come back again.
