GPC Guesthouse

This guesthouse let my friends pay the full amount even though Agoda advertise them on a promo rate.

I booked a Couple Room through Agoda and expected to receive the room that I had reserved and paid for. However, upon our arrival at GPC Guest House, we were informed that we would only be given a Single Room instead of the Couple Room we had booked. The staff explained that they could only provide us with a Single Room because Agoda had offered us a discounted price and that they were not responsible for the discount. They further informed us that we would have to pay an additional amount if we wanted to stay in the Couple Room we had originally booked. I find this situation unacceptable and unfair to customers. I made my reservation through Agoda in good faith, trusting that the room type confirmed in my booking would be honored. The discount offered through Agoda should not be a reason to downgrade our accommodation or require us to pay extra to receive the room we originally reserved. As a customer, I believe it is the responsibility of the property to honor the confirmed booking, regardless of the promotional price offered through the booking platform. I respectfully request that Agoda investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that customers do not experience similar situations in the future. I also hope Agoda can help resolve this matter fairly, as I should not have to pay additional charges for the room type that was already confirmed in my reservation.

booked a deluxe room, and when I arrive they put me on a single room, they also ask me to add 800 cash because I booked a really cheap price here in agoda. they encourage me not to use agoda when I decide to extend with them. Extended for another 1 day. but still on a single room thats whymy second booking i only booked single room because they put me in a wrong room.
