Kim Đồng Hotel

We had a great stay at Kim Dong Hotel in Móng Cái. The hotel feels very new, modern, and well maintained, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was a very pleasant surprise and an excellent choice for our time in the city. One of the things we really enjoyed was the location. The hotel is situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, making it a great place to relax, while still being conveniently close to the city centre. There’s also a really cute little coffee shop right next to the hotel, which was perfect for grabbing a coffee and enjoying a quiet morning. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. A huge bonus for us was that they could communicate in both Mandarin and Vietnamese, which made everything very easy and convenient, especially as we were travelling across the China–Vietnam border. They went above and beyond to help us with our onward journey as well, even assisting us in booking a shuttle van from Móng Cái to Hanoi. This made our travel arrangements so much easier and gave us peace of mind, especially when navigating transportation in a new place. Overall, Kim Dong Hotel is a clean, comfortable, peaceful, and well-located new hotel with genuinely helpful staff. The combination of a quiet neighbourhood, convenient location, a lovely coffee shop next door, and excellent service made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Kim Dong Hotel to anyone staying in Móng Cái, whether you’re there for a short stopover or exploring the area. We would happily stay here again!
