Hmmhh...the only positive thing: The AC worked almost as it should. Would like 2 upload some of the photos I shot 2 show how dirty & KAPUTT (non-functioning, destroyed) most of the furnishings, doors & furniture was. The rotten wardrobe revealed a half-filled stinking LEO beer bottle & other trash from some previous guests. 😳 The bathroom door neither had a doorknob nor a lock. Instead there was a big hole in the plastic material with dangerous sharp edges that could easily cut one's hands. Of course the water heater did not work, so we had 2 shower cold. The bed sheets/duvet covers were so strange that U couldn't find out how 2 sleep without getting tangled up. The little apartment house they offered us @ 1st had a beautiful front view into the stinking trash/waste disposal pond of the neighbour community. We demanded another one. The towels were so old & frayed, nobody would/should seriously offer such 2 anyone. The staff/the manger whom I talked 2 (in Thai & English) the next morning did NOT want 2 understand my point: Paying back at least 50% of the price, because the quality/service we received 4 our money was awful, even by lower Thai standards. So that discussion wasn't fruitful. My experience traveling Thailand since 14 years: If U just make compliments & praise food or services (even if they're average) Thai people easily understand U - but if a problem occurs, U complain or suggest 2 get money paid back most Thais pretend to not understand. Amazing that sufficient English language skills are rarely 2 find among Thai nationals working in the tourism industry...after more than 65 years of international travelers coming 2 visit. Ridiculous!! Agoda​ as a booking platform needs 2 quit collaboration with this "accomodation" if they care about their reputation. This one is among the Top 3 of my worst experiences in exploring Thailand since 2010. The price might have been justified 15 or 20 years earlier, when the place was new & maintained. Now it is more than inappropriate 2 offer such stays even 4 Thai locals! Finally I expect Agoda 2 send me an apology (since the local "management" didn't find it necessary) and refund 100% of the booking price. I'd be happy 2 provide conclusive photos of this "resort".
