Ufford Park Resort

Room carpet needs a good clean as did the marked bed throw. Restaurant and bar area were chilly but we did go when it was -1 outside. We ate both nights in the restaurant and it could be hard to get the staff who were standing around chatting to come to our table. Doors needed to be closed behind them. Take a thick jumper in there with you. Food was delicious. Spa was lovely I had a back massage that was excellent. Breakfast was included in the price with a good choice. Was a great meet up with my 2 school friend now that we are in our 60s. Would definitely go there again.

We booked 2 rooms for a weekend stay…… there was an issue with the water pressure in our room but it was resolved very quickly and we were informed when everything was OK! We had a nice stay and enjoyed a swim in the pool, there is a good walk around the outside of the golf course too.

Stayed here a few times years ago and was always good. Hotel is still as nice but restaurant staff poor and management initiative lacking. Staff do not interact with customers and management do not seem to notice obvious problems e.g. I had to inform them they needed to re-locate the cereal table at breakfast because locating it next to the coffee machine was causing obvious difficulties for customers who could not access it due to being obstructed by the constant queue to use the machine. Also one small milk jug containing little more than one pint was clearly proving inadequate to cater for both cereals and tea. Both of these things and other deficiencies were clearly obvious and were indicative of a lack of attention to detail that seem to pervade here. Small things maybe but this is not a cheap hotel so they do need to up their gamem

I’ve stayed at the Ufford Pk hotel for several Christmases. It’s quite a big hotel with a swimming pool, steam room etc. Annoyingly the sauna and jacuzzi were shut all the week, as far as I could tell (what a time to shut them!!). Rooms are decent. Watch out for rooms in number range around 240, because the sound insulation between rooms is non-existent. You can hear people coughing, the walls are so thin. Comfortable beds and good sized rooms. I recommend requesting a room the is on the opposite side to the car park. The rooms are the same, but the view is grim onto the car park. Golf course views are great. I didn’t use the restaurant or bar this visit, partly because they are quite utilitarian, not cosy or intimate. Staff are all nice.

Easy to park, super friendly staff, clean simple room, good water pressure, full english breakfast. Great price. What more do you want? I think there us a spa, and a pool, and the hotel is based in a golf club. It us a *** room, but staffed by great, friendly people who take pride in their work. Cannot be beaten for value for money. I think that was my fourth stay.
