Came for a few days to strategise for the year. Perfect for us. Rooms were great. Very quiet for 1st couple of days. We spent the day time sitting on the pontoon working with a beautiful river and scenery around. Food was actually reasonable priced for a place so far from anything else. Had our own car so travel was easy. Great place to unwind and chill

Das Resort liegt direkt am Fluss und in einem wunderschönen Park mit vielen Bäumen. Leider ist die Anlage in die Jahre gekommen und sollte renoviert werden (so z.B. gibt’s anstelle von AC Ventilatoren in den Blockhütten, die auch recht angenehm sind). Wer nicht heikel ist und die Ruhe geniessen möchte, ist hier richtig. Das Personal spricht wenig bis gar kein Englisch, was die Verständigung oft erschwert. Ein Highlight ist das tägliche Flussbad der Elefanten, die auf dem Gelände leben.

The Legacy is a hidden gem - tightly locked away in the countryside and away from the hustle and bustle! It was a weekend getaway to remember for my children, husband and I. Waking to a tranquil nature scene with only the sounds of nature - and animals! It was a win for us adults and children - with the animals onsite, including the elephants, pool, bike rental for kids and the workshop options available. It is a distance away from the downtown area - transportation is a must - but it checks all the rest of the boxes. Rooms were clean and matches the style of area - its a the cabin - so don't expect a modern take. Great value for money considering all the perks and staff were very helpful! We will be sure to return.

The cabins are clean. Giving living in the woods vibe. Very Natural. The location is far from Kanchanaburi city centre (approx. 35-40mins drive). Need to get staffs to call up taxi (500 baht to the city). Not very convenient if travel without a car. The reception lady seems like she was in a rush all the time but generally very helpful. For those who are interested, there is an Elephant sanctuary within the grounds, so you might see 3 beautiful elephants out and about for their routine shower at 3pm !

The Resort is perfect is you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Watch elephants take a bath in the river and have a meal and few drinks sitting by the river as the sun sets.
