This homestay is about 15 minutes off the main road.. on a good day without rain. If you are using Google Maps to navigate, don’t follow the map’s directions at the end but turn left when you reach the convenience store (ถูกดี มีมาตรฐาน ป.เจริญพาณิชย์) instead. Otherwise, our dependable Gmaps will happily lead you to a dead end. Once you arrive, you’ll find a cute red house waiting for you. Many amenities are available, such as aircon, water kettle and even a fridge. The water pressure is excellent and the whole house is spacious with mosquito netting at the windows. I did not use the AC because I prefer open windows, and I did not use the fridge because I felt I won’t use it much so it’ll be a waste to start it up. The provided toiletries are expired although it can still be used. The water from the tap was also murky at times. Wifi was mostly good so I was able to do my work smoothly. The welcome booklet included a food menu but I was not able to get any replies from the Line account provided. It also promises free daily breakfast and grilled pork, fleeting dreams for the starving tenant. Since the road outside was unlit at night and unpaved, I would rather starve a little than ride my bike out at night or when it rains. Part of the reason I chose this stay was for its solitude, but occasionally, the silence was broken by nearby residents who worked or talked loudly. Despite triple checking that mosquito nets covered the windows completely and keeping the toilet door closed, I was bitten by various insects every day, mosquitoes or otherwise. One night, I suddenly saw two big hornet/wasp-like insects buzzing around the ceiling light and I never found where they flew in from. I’m generally ok with any insects except when they start biting, so the stay was not that comfortable for me. Apart from checking me in, there was no communication from either the host nor residents throughout my 6-day stay. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a bag of 4 water bottles and some coffee sachets hanging outside my door on the 3rd day. The frequent rain ruined my plans to travel further west so I content myself with exploring the surrounding countryside. The long walk through nature was nice, and the well-placed seats were ideal for some quiet reading.. at least until the mosquitoes come!

マンゴスチンの収穫時期で、庭のマンゴスチンは食べ放題でした。とても甘くてマンゴスチンが好きになりました。 部屋の景色はとても良いですが、蚊が入ってくるため虫除けスプレー必須です。

It is a 25 minute drive to the nearest town Thong Pha Phum and the last 1km is down a dirt track road. The Room we stayed in was so small, just enough room for 2 beds and a refrigerator. It had a enjoining room, with another couple staying in it! The Kettle was broken and the bathroom room had just been left unpainted. Loose dogs following you around, always wanting food. If we could of afforded to move, we would have!!

ห้องพักมีกลิ่นอับ แต่โชคดีเขามีสเปรย์ปรับอากาศให้ ต้องฉีดไปเยอะอยู่ กลิ่นถึงจะหาย แอร์เย็นดี ที่พักร่มรื่น ห้องน้ำก็พอได้ ฝักบัวไหลไม่แรงมาก ตอนใช้น้ำ น้ำจะไหลแบบกระตุกตลอดเวลา แต่ก็ไม่ได้อะไร พีคสุดคือทางเข้า ลึกมากกกกกก สุดๆ แถมมมาตอนฝนตก หลุมเป็นสิบ รถ(เก๋ง) แทบพัง 😢😭
