Camiguin Volcano Houses-Panoramic House

i have no major complaints - the place was perfectly scenic. the furniture can be replaced with newer cushions the staff were really friendly and reliable. but overall really wonderful experience!

Camiguin wasn’t even part of our itinerary—but we said yes anyway. Booked this place on the way to the port, no reviews, just vibes ✨ The place? Peaceful, aesthetic, surrounded by trees. No signal at all—but Wi-Fi works. About 30 mins from Mambajao, so having a motorcycle is a must (and the الطريق gets really dark at night). Plot twist: power went out in the middle of the night for 40 mins—no emergency light, no candles, no signal to contact anyone. We literally sat in the dark like 👁️👄👁️ Also, insects drop by and geckos will definitely make themselves known 🦎 Would I recommend it? Depends. If you want comfort—maybe not. But if you’re up for a quiet, off-grid, slightly chaotic nature experience… this is it 😅

The staff was very accommodating. There were plenty of areas to take good photos and if you want solitude this is the place to be. It's far away from the main road, and it had power outage the whole day we were there (no wifi, no data access) so it's really for those needing a break from everything. There's generator at night but it goes on and off since it's also for both houses. Over all, it was a calm peaceful stay but not for those looking for adventure and plenty of accessible food options. The restaurant nearby serves good food though, it's a couple of meters from the accommodation.

My room in the Panoramic house was big and spacious. There’s a big closet, whole body mirror, a table & a chair inside my room. The bed/pillows are comfy. The cold/ hot shower was working fine, the CR was also big, water current is good and I was able to washed clothes but the only downside for me was that my bathroom sink was clogged but I already told the staff about it after I checked out because they might not be aware of it. The staffs are all accommodating and kind. Sir Jomar warmly welcomed me, helped me with my stuff, oriented me about the house and Ma’am Vicky was also very helpful, friendly, soft spoken and nice too in many ways, she helped me arranged renting a motorbike and also my transpo from the House to my next accommodation.I really love the ambiance of the whole property- very close to nature, there’s a healing and calming energy there. Plus the animals are all friendly, calm and healthy looking. They also have complete kitchen utensils. The kitchen and living room are big enough to accommodate many people. There’s wifi but not that reliable all the time, no network signal both globe/smart, no AC in rooms but there’s an electric-fan which I haven’t used because my room was just cool enough for me since the house was surrounded by big trees. Just a note that this area is really far from the center of Mambajao and the only close resto is Nanaw Cafe, other than that public transpo is not “that” accessible since it’s really located more or less 17km from the commercial hub of the Island. Arranging your mode of transpo ahead is a MUST. If you can’t rent/drive a motorbike, better arrange with the staffs as soon as you arrive and expect that fare is very expensive like ₱700 for a Tuktok from the ferry to the house and VV. Overall- my experience in Camiguin was good because I have a good area to rest and reflect about my bday trip.
