La Casa Blanca Beach Resort

We had a lovely stay, but the road going to the resort was too narrow.

Was looking for reasonably priced lodgings to stay for the night as we had to attend an event at a nearby resort the next day and the 'Studio with Balcony' offering at La Casa Blanca seemed to suit our needs, namely: 1. Enough bedspace for 4 adults, 1 14-yr old (with room to spare albeit with thin sheets and even thinner blankets) 2. Own toilet and bath for convenience (our water heater unit was busted at the time, however) 3. Airconditioned room for a good night's rest (room was surprisingly kept cold despite the small AC unit) 4. Can be managed by a mobile 84-yr old to get around (had no problems at all) 5. Access to breakfast meals should you need it (we didn't) Our room had ample outside seating, we were given access to drinking water by way of a dispenser outside our room, and we were suitably assisted by Jaden throughout our short (8pm to about 11am the next day) but restful stay. Some cons as of this review (02 Feb 24) though, namely: 1. Waze points to a home (about 8 mins away, in the next barangay / town) whose occupants we unfortunately had to disturb as we were definitely unsure where we were at the time. A photo in a posted Google review showed the same house, in addition to the misplaced Waze pin, which obviously led to a lot of folks being misderected to said house. 2. Google Maps directions showed the same, although there was another pin somewhat closer to the real location which, however, couldn't be selected on Maps for some reason. 3. We spent almost an hour going around and asking around about where we could find the place because we couldn't contact the contact number given. Fortunately after around half an hour of missed calls and on our third stop to ask for directions, Jaden picked the phone up and proceeded to our location to guide us to their place. 4. The entry way and the access road to the place is narrow with tight af twists. We brought a pick-up truck, and even with Jaden assisting us around the corners and twists, the going was tricky af. Jaden (not entirely sure how his name is spelled though) kind of promised he'd get around to correcting the Navi / location pins and to clarify the access road challenges on their listings moving forward but let this review serve the same purpose. The review title says it all, and I can say it's good enough for weekend barkada / family beach get-aways and quick stays in the area..just maybe bring a smaller car and get in touch and keep in touch with Jaden or whoever's holding the phone for a nicer experience.

A serene getaway. Accessible place and very quiet. We were able to enjoy! Will definitely come back.

Maliit yung daanan.. untidy yung place..may charge ang pag gamit ng gasol nila 500 pesos. Yung cr nila hindi malinis yung sa common cr mga damit scattered everywhere…
