Touristlink Homestay

Unfortunately there were not family dinners when I was there. The rooms can get quite hot, so you need to get used to sleep with the noise of two fans. The shared bathroom was not cleaned during all my stay (2 nights). Be aware there is not hot water in the shower. Host is nice and the house cat is a plus.

We had an amazing stay! The home is clean and beautiful. It is a short walk to the main town area and some good restaurants. Having use of a kitchen and washing machine was much needed after some long travel days. There is also a bike to rent if you are wanting to do some exploring in the area. Great stay :)

We had a great stay at this house — the place itself was amazing, and the host even more so! She was incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us in arranging a cheap tuk-tuk for the whale shark tour and even letting us do our laundry for free (we of course left a tip). The kitchen was excellent — honestly the best we’ve had in the Philippines. It was well-equipped, and there was a large table where we could comfortably eat. The room was very simple (just a bed and a large dresser), but it was spacious and comfortable. We were a bit unsure about having a shared bathroom at first, but it turned out to be clean and totally fine. The only downside was the neighbor’s barking dog, but that’s quite common in the Philippines and not a major issue. There’s also a market just a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient if you want to buy food and cook. Overall, a wonderful stay with a fantastic host — highly recommended!

We stayed in Touristlink homestay for 2 nights and it was great! People in Donsol are amazing. I recommend going to Roberto's for food, it is a cute little restaurant with many options.
