Location was excellent! However, the room is not well maintained. There is a microwave and kettle. Kettle was old and chipped. Facilities are old. Molds in the corners of the bathroom, leak in ceiling by the door, bidet head sa dirty, shower heater did not work. The cords of the microwave and kettle was short and could not reach the electric outlet if they are on the kitchen counter. You have to place them on a chair or on top of the trash bin. If you are a pwd or senior, stay away. They shut down the elevator from 10pm to 7am. If you need to go early you have to go down 3 flights of stairs with no lights. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they didn't do anything and just said it is what is and is a hassle. Hmm, not the kind of proactive response I was expecting.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my husband. The room was huge, which we appreciated. However, getting to it was such a hassle. Apparently, it could only be accessed by walking to the end of the dark outdoor hallway and taking the elevator there. I had really thought I could get to the room via the lobby, but it wasn't the case at all. So, even if the hotel itself is strategically located, accessing the room can be quite a chore. Also, our room was located next to their event space, which at the time was hosting what seemed to be a racing event for kids. It was very noisy. I was always woken by the sound of people cheering on the contestants, kids having a tantrum, and the super loud sound system. I was also very worried about our safety because there were too many people in the area (the ones attending the event). Some of them even lingered right outside our room, making me realize that there was only one door separating us from them, so if any of them thought of doing something bad, we'd be in a very vulnerable position. There was also one time when I caught a random woman trying to take a peek into our room while we were entering. The staff members were all very good, though. Still, not worth it considering the price.

Always satisfied with our stay here. It's very accessible, affordable, staffs are consistently welcoming and friendly. Would 10/10 stay here again. Just a few things to note: 1. Facilities are not properly maintained. Walls have so many cracks and bathroom has mould spots 2. Walls are thin, you can not really sleep in. As early as 0600, you could hear lots of noises around (rooster, dogs barking, staff giggling outside, traffic) which is inconvenient especially when you're on a mission to have a good rest after a long travel/flight 3. You'd come across a gambling area on your way out. It's a shame seeing this knowing that majority of their clients are students (potentially a big distraction). Hopefully this will be removed in the future.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. The facility is a little rough with vacant properties and some unfinished areas left open.

Check-in took a while for some reason, even if only one other party was ahead of us. The room didn't have toilet paper, had to ask for one. The shower heater did not work until the plumber took a look at it. The room was spacious enough with a nice view. The proximity to the nearby university campus was its selling point, and it's conveniently near commercial stores (and a supermarket downstairs).
