the pampines villa, mount kinabalu

Open window from villa can see the KK mountain. Nice weather which not required air conditioning and provide with ceiling fan. However the ceiling fan suddenly off during mid night for 2 days.upon reported this issue on 1st day,the staff provide with stand fan. Room is clean and kitchen provided with cooking equipment and utensils for Steamboat. Water heater works perfectly however low water pressure. Nice place to stay.

Tempat ni jauh tp view dkt sini best. 1. Takyah keluar bilik, duduk tepi tingkap saje pun best. Cuma yg tak best tu aquarium sgt tingkap bilik ni, villa dpn asyik tgk2 kami di bilik hotel ni. Should not facing other people window br la best. Roller blind tu ganggu at least tukar sheer curtain ok la sikit. 2. Ordered room servis, okey sdp. Berbaloi dgn harga and view masa makan dlm bilik tu. Tp ada je kedai jual makanan kena turun lg ke mesilou so mmg tak lapar. 3. Common kitchen understand ramai guna tp byk pinggan mangkuk periuk tak basuh. Microwave mcm dh tak function boleh dh kot tukar. We only use to store milk at fridge. 4. Papehal pun for view confirm repeat.

Villa price is at a higher price range so expectation was high from us . The fourth room was actually infront of the parking bay which is at lower ground with lots of dormitory beds , our group thinks it looks scary so did not use the room . All Toilets have bad water flow , your leg will be damped with water while bathing and with some dirts on it so we were quite disappointed on this .

The place is definitely aesthetic but there were many things that were impractical about the layout. Kind of like it lacked proper thought and planning. There was a high table of sorts which may have been the dressing table but with no mirror or chair. Just a high gap between table and floor. You would have to take a flight of steep stairs outdoors in the middle of the night to get something from your fridge or boil water, and if you forgot your code/phone, you'd be locked out of ur own unit. The bathroom was extremely spacious, clean and equipped with good pressure and hot water but it emits some kind of sewage smell upon use. Additionally, it would also be a challenge for people with mobility issues as well as heavy luggage. The road into the property is quite steep and too narrow for 2 cars to pass each other.

Our first time to have a stay for a night in this place and it was so beautifully calm to see such a place in such a cozy weather 😌 abit pricey than expected but still affordable for 4 pax. definitely a good place to stay away from crowds and only enjoy the view 🧡
