Holiday Lodge Appleton

Not a bad place. Clean. Everything worked in the room. No problems at all.

I do recommend it!

We booked the room for one night and paid ahead of time. We aren’t from the area and didn’t know anything about this place. We paid *** upfront. When we arrived there were boarded up windows, our room door didn’t have a latch, the walls and doors were filthy, and the bed sheets were gross. There were people outside smoking pot around the building, and when we decided the leave the man at the front desk told me, “you get what you pay for.” I expected clean for what we paid. *** was ludicrous! He also said there was a tornado that affected them, but after talking to some locals the tornado was several weeks ago, but even before the tornado they recommend staying away. Tornado may have been an excuse for windows, but not the cleanliness.
