OK, first the good. The rooms overlooking the pool are fabulous. Lots of space, a great balcony, comfy beds, and good AC. The pool Is a pleasure, the shallow end for the kids, deep ends are great for laps. It's huge. I didn't expect a lot from the restaurant here, but they surprised me. The food was wonderful and the portions were twice the size I was expecting. Prices were higher than average, but well worth the price. Kudos to the chef. On the downside, WiFi was not working, and the cell signal was poor or non-existent. That needs to be fixed. Call ahead to check if that has been remedied. The staff was less than professional. I stood at the reception desk for quite some time while being ignored. It would have been nice to have made eye contact and have one of the staff smile and say "I'll be with you in just a minute" The bartender didn't understand my request for vodka. Maybe it was her first day, or maybe it was just the language barrier. Everyone else seemed to speak decent English. Would I stay there again? Yes, provided they get the Wifi working. Here's a tip for those using Google maps, If you find yourself on a dirt road, you are lost. There is a nice new concrete road that leads directly to the hotel. Look for the sign.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Roxas to catch a ferry. The pool is great, staff are friendly and helpful and they have a good restaurant. There was only us and 1 other couple staying there. The beach is not good for swimming - black sand and river stones however the pool made up for it. Breakfast was included and was nice and plentiful. Keep in mind that it is some distance from the main road, however we caught a local bus that took us to their doorstep.

Staff is very accommodating. Food is affordable and great. Amenities are good although some are unavailable or broken. My only concerns are the low water pressure and flies in the room. There is poultry near our room which caused a lot of flies which are really disturbing and irritating especially for kids and elderly. Overall, great resort and would come back again.

Decent value. Great pool and view. Beach is full of garbage. Breakfast was incredible. One of the best hotel breakfasts we had in the Phillipines! NO WIFI though. And the beds were small and uncomfortable.
