Overall, we really liked the property itself and the common areas. The setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere has a lot of charm. However, unfortunately, we did not receive the room we had booked. Instead of a double room, we were given a bunk-bed room filled with multiple beds. Even though we were the only ones staying in the room, it felt overpriced for what it was, and we were disappointed that no solution was offered — such as a discount or an alternative room that matched our original booking. Another letdown was the organized “sunset boat tour.” It actually started after the sun had already set, and it felt more like we were slowly cruising around the river in the dark to extend the duration rather than experiencing a true sunset tour. We can’t speak for the bungalows, but the more expensive rooms seemed a bit outdated and in need of renovation, especially considering the price being charged. That said, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was decent, and the river itself is absolutely stunning — a real-life postcard. With some improvements and better booking management, this place could offer a much stronger overall experience.
