Our stay at Las Casas was truly exceptional and memorable. The whole resort is stunning. Every corner is picture perfect/instagrammable. I believe the photos and videos we took doesn't justify the beauty of the place. The pictures from the website and various social media platforms were already beautiful but in person, it was 10x. From the entrance, you already get a feel of the era with the uniform and the hut. Check in was seamless and staff were exceptional, polite, accomodating, and kind. The only hassle at check in was due to the guests for a wedding. Stepping inside the resort feels like you are transported back in time during the Spanish colonial period. The houses are kept in excellent condition. There are loads of activities available to complete the cultural and heritage experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and balsa ride. There are several options to go around the resort (walking, jeepney, rent a golf cart, and the tram). You cannot bring outside food but there are restaurants (Filipino, Italian, Spanish). Prices are as expected for food packages (around 3k for 3-4 pax). Room was well lit, wifi was available, towels and toiletries (conditioner, soap) provided. We hope they could consider adding a bidet to the rented rooms. The spa and massage services at Majayjay House was worth it to relax and unwind. We did most of the activities (kalesa, walking tour, balsa) and watched the shows. We preferred to skip swimming or water activities as we opted to spend the time walking around the resort and taking photos. Overall, we would rate our stay a 9/10. Definitely considering to go back on our next vacation. P.S. our booking at agoda includes the breakfast buffet. If u book directly, it has the walking tour included. We preferred agoda because we were undecided about the activities at that time.

Well its las casas. No other place in the Ph that has unique history value. But when it comes to comfort in your hotel rooms, we were swarmed by mosquitos. We were given a baygon spray but we cannot use it as much because of the smell. Day tour is I think mas sulit when it comes sa gastos.

My family’s 2nd visit here, 1st time in 2019 we went with my parents and siblings. Now, we brought my mother in law. It was enjoyable and relaxing for us as the weather is cooler and we got to explore the resort after dinner time. Walking Heritage Tour is definitely wonderful. The food were good though since it is peak season, the waiting time is a bit longer. I recommend wearing of comfortable shoes with thicker soles as most of the streets are cobblestones. Internet connection is good all throughout the resort. With their customer reception just a viber away. Most staff and tram / jeepney drivers we encountered are kind and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Las Casas Bataan.

I find the place very valuable to stay in if you are into history and want to experience the life of a Filipino before. I appreciate how the entire place gives you that vibe, and they even have good actors that seriously act like Jose Rizal, Padre Damaso and Sisa! It was super cool! I wish I saw the other characters too!
