Jhuna Komodo Homestay

Where do I start …. Firstly Jhuna is an incredible human and this goes for his wife too who is simply an amazing chef. All meals are included and it’s the best local food you will taste. The homestay is located centrally on Komodo where you are invited to mix with the villagers who are the happiest friendliest people in Indonesia. If you stay on Komodo you can immerse yourself in what life should be about and experience true community. The bedroom is simple and one unit has aircon which is pure luxury. The shared bathroom is pristine and the shower is hot and powerful. Upstairs there’s a rooftop terrace with comfortable beds to lay on and watch the sun go up or down. Jhuna offers bespoke tours visiting secret spots along with all the islands and sights you need to see. The national park is fantastic and the ranger Fannai is so knowledgeable and passionate about his work on the island and protecting the Komodo’s. The tour took my breath away every island we visited and it’s 100% an incredible experience.
