I understand this isn't a premier hotel, and at best, it feels like a 3-star property. However, given the very small room size, the nightly rate is quite expensive—comparable to what I would pay for a larger room in a 3-star hotel in Metro Manila. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the floor wasn't properly cleaned—there were strands of hair on the floor, which was disappointing right from the start. There's also no cabinet or closet to hang clothes, which is a basic necessity for any traveler. And to top it off, they don't even provide slippers—something I'd expect at this price point. Regarding check-in: most 3-star hotels allow early check-in, even up to an hour early, at no extra charge. Here, I was charged by the hour; arriving just 30 minutes early was still billed as a full hour, so I had no choice but to wait. The same goes for check-out. While many 3-star hotels are lenient with late departures—allowing 30 minutes to even an hour without extra fees—this hotel charged me for just a 30-minute delay. I know this isn't a luxury property, but considering what I paid per night, I expected much more in terms of cleanliness, basic amenities, and flexibility. I can't believe they are stricter than most 3-star hotels in Metro Manila, especially since this hotel is located in the province.
