Centrally located at the heart of Banaue, dining area with amazing view and fresh air, good restaurant and very helpful staff!!! Yoly the head staff and the whole restaurant staff are very much accommodating!!!! Highly recommended hotel!!!! I’ll definitely come back!!!!

We had to book a hotel at the last minute after nearby Koreen Guest House decided getting my money for three nights was enough and would not communicate at all. Fortunately, we lucked out and stayed at Uyami's instead, thanks in part because they have a working phone line and actually answer calls. As it turned out, Uyami's is a nice place in the heart of downtown with a pretty good restaurant downstairs and a nice staff to work with. Our second-floor room overlooked Baguio's main street a short walk from the bus drop-off and while we got the usual sounds that come from being downtown, it wasn't really an issue. The room itself was not large but it was clean with a private bathroom that had hot water for showers. Don't expect a housekeeper to clean your room during your stay, though, so you need to self-police while there. The resto is nice with a view of the hills surrounding Banaue. Food was moderately priced, good portions and of decent quality so we ate nearly all our meals there. An added bonus was that the owner is related to a great guy named Jeffrey who took us on a tour of a number of rice terraces (the reason most people visit Banaue) in his motorized trike. Trikes can be a little tight with more than two people on board anywhere but Jeffrey was a terrific rider who shared much local history during our tour and after reading what most tour packages in the area cost, he was an absolute bargain. If/when we return to Banaue, Jeffrey will be "our" guy for touring just as Uyami's will likely be where we stay again. In closing, Uyami's was a solid choice for both lodging and dining. Again, we lucked out booking them at the last minute because it was a comfortable place to stay and that makes all the difference when you travel.

Overall, good value for money considering the facility is about 40 years old. The restaurant, though, is well worth the stay. I would book there again.

Our room was quite old and at the bottom floor but it’s an inexpensive place to stay at especially when you are backpacking. All in all, good value.
