A magical cottage appeared after walking down a little path from our parked car. It is comfortable, spacious, and loved the nice timber interior. There is a wood-fired heater in the cottage that worked a little too well! Loved the bathtub with spa jets and bath salts were provided. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. It is near the Visitor Centre and actually walkable. Abundant wildlife all around the cottage, managed to spot pademelons, wallabies, an echidna. A currawong kept coming to look in the kitchen window. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Only downside was that there were a few big houseflies in the cottage when we arrived, but I managed to catch and release them outside. All in all, the best place to stay in the Cradle Mountain area!

Awesome place to stay!

Cosy, conveniently located and well equipped studio
Loved how close the cottages were to many cradle mountain walks. It was cosy and warm which is a must have in cradle mountain. Kitchen was also well equipped which made cooking a breeze. Only downside is that the bed is a little springy and the room is a bit dark but that's me really looking for faults

Memorable Stay
Loved the wood fire and the wildlife around our cabin. Close proximity to Cradle Mountain shuttle bus. Comfortable bed. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin
Everything was good with a kitchen. If I knew the cooking utensils were so clean, I could have brought Vege and meat to do a hotpot. Weather was not good when I was there but great to do a hotpot. Great stay for me.
