The Catamaran Hotel

only stayed here for 4 nights but have to say it was very pleasant. staff very friendly and helpfull. Remember this is a 3star hotel but rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard and towels replaced. There is no bar but there is one on the marina. Would i stay here again? def. yes

I stayed at the Catamaran hotel in Falmouth harbour for 2 weeks. I enjoyed my stay, and I was made to feel very safe as a solo female traveller. Pros Private beach, no vendors Close to Shirley heights and other main attractions. Breakfast delivered to room daily. Friendly and tentative staff. Feona was very helpful, welcoming and easy to talk to. Pros Close to English harbour Close to Shirley heights and other main attractions. Very peaceful. Private beach Very safe. I really enjoyed my stay at the Catamaran hotel and I will definitely be returning back. Highly recommend if you want to stay in a nice peaceful hotel. Suggestions/feedback Having a "DO NOT DISTURB" note that can be put up on the door to let people know not to disturb, especially when having a shower. Having more of a choice with breakfast i.e an English breakfast Instructions on how to use the shower. Shower taps were hard to turn. Overall, very lovely hotel in a perfect location. I miss this hotel already. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely family-run hotel. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotless and the grounds very well maintained. The breakfasts delivered to our little outside dining table each morning were such a treat and always delicious. We would definitely stay here next time we visit the island and would highly recommend this hotel.

The GOOD: location, bed mattress, & view from room #4. The BAD: 1st night no blankets or duvets on ANY beds in room, just sheets, rm sleeps 3 but only towels for 2, no hand soap, no shampoo provided, pillows terrible. The UGLY: only 1 of 4 burners on electric range works, toaster broken, hot water pot FILTHY, bath towels w/holes, HORRIBLE COFFEE, pathetic Continental Breakfast , & I denied use of my balcony for one of my two day stay due to maintenance that could have been done when a guest was not checked into that room.
