The hotel itself was alright, but the staff was fairly rude. Their website says “pet friendly” but it was more like “pet tolerant”. We brought our 20lbs dog with us and selected a pet friendly room and were only there for one night. At one point we took her outside and brought her back in and the front desk clerk shouted across the lobby at us (while helping other guests) asking what room we were in and that we needed to take out pet in and out through the side door for guests with allergies. Which I understand, but we were not told that at check in, they had us say our room number out loud in front of a bunch of strangers, and also do they not clean the lobby regularly? Also a $100 security deposit was required up front for the room, but we were not told this until check in. That’s fine, I understand since we had a pet, but a heads up would have been nice considering that was an extra $100 I had not budgeted for our trip (I was told I would get it back at check out but I have yet to see my deposit and we left the room spotless).

Better with Agoda
Hotel was nice and clean. Had stayed one night the previous week at full price for a King room. Booking through Agoda got us a King suite with kitchen at half the price.

Decent for money
Decent place for the money. No frills but has what you need. Hardly any water pressure so good strong shower is out. Breakfast had the basics but nothing hot besides waffles you make yourself.

The lancaster inn is a nice location,we were disappointed that breakfast was not served as it had in the past. Only real complaint pillows were horribly flat,I would recommend new pillows
