We spent two nights for an anniversary getaway and it was lovely! It was offseason (April), but the resort was still hopping, as it was school vacation week. We stayed in the West Wing of the Mansion side. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The gym, hot tub and indoor pool were all conveniently located in our building. We did not use the outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub, but plenty of people did. The weather was so nice that there were people sitting on the beach too! I noticed that chairs were ready on the deck, for guests who wanted to use them on the beach. The Mansion side of the resort is absolutely gorgeous! We took a ride over to the golf course side, which was nice, but a completely different vibe. We were disappointed that the spa was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so we went off property for a couple’s massage. Note: The Beach House spa is not located within the Mansion side. It is a short drive away. We ate at Bayzos…it was just OK. We opted to eat off property the second night we were there. We also hung out in the parlor of the Mansion after eating at Bayzo’s. There were a few games available to play. It’s a nice cozy spot. Complimentary coffee in the morning and some puzzles to work on would be a nice addition. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it for couples and families.

Lovely Getaway
