Above average room, below average breakfast
Everything was great. The room was huge and had great views of the fjords. It came with an attached bath and WC that seemed new and modern. Breakfast was self-service. That include turning on the lights, boiling water, cutting your own fruits. Bread was supermarket variety. Ham from Bonus. Have your coffee in-room cos the Nespresso was much better than the one at breakfast. There is nothing to do in the area on a Sunday evening in Autumn. The nearby beer spa was also closed. You can go whale-watching or take the ferry to Hrisey. Ferries also depart from neighbouring town of Dalvík to Grimsey island which crosses into the Arctic Circle. A trip there will an entire day so I imagine this would be a good place to stay if Grimsey is on the itinerary.

Excellent stay
Very good size of room and Washroom. Self check in was seamless. Very good views from the room. Breakfast was very basic. Highly recommended
