This is a resort style hotel not located in the Tam Coc town. As a result you will probably pay a bit more to get to the touristy attractions but this can be done through the hotel. Our room in Aurora building had beautiful views of the mountains. The swimming pool was excellent and my daughter and I spent every afternoon there watching the sun go down. Breakfast was pretty good and the meals we ate in the restaurant at night were good and not too expensive. We like stay there again.

Out of town but resort style

Family Stay at the Grand Verdana
My family of 4 stayed here for a 2-day stay while we toured Ninh Binh. The private swimming pool and spacious villas were super comfortable after a busy day of sightseeing. I was a bit confused at booking if my villa would have a private pool but was happy to find that all 2,3 and 4BRs villas include private pools. The pagoda restaurant was very impressive and both the breakfast buffet and dinner menu were very tasty with plenty of options for everyone. The service throughout was great but Ajay, in particular, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. It's located a little away from the attractions but not an issue when booking tours and a great spot for families!

Magical view at the lake but lacks nearby food options
I had a relaxing stay but unfortunately, I didn't expect the resort to be this far away from the city. It took around 45 minutes to get to Nin Bin city center from the resort. Nonetheless, the place can be described as perfect for those who would like to escape the hassle and bustle of cities to nature. The view of the room and the swimming pool at the lake were quite satisfying. If there's something the management needs to work on is to enhance the quality of food and service at the restaurant. Special thanks to Hana who went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with my stay.

Staffs very helpful and friendly. Room got upgraded and prodding good hospitality services. Definately will be back. Great place for family outing.
