With just a handful of family-sized villas and each with its own stairway that leads directly to the river, this is truly an ideal back-to-nature escapade. The semi-outdoor kitchen is adequate for simple cooking (incl a small BBQ grill), and there's a dispenser for both cold and hot water. We booked the Sentosa, which features an outdoor 'lounge' with large rock slabs as benches overlooking the river - the perfect spot for morning coffees and afternoon teas! It got pretty chilly at night, and the soothing river sounds were like a lullaby, altogether making for a restful getaway. I think my nervous system got the reset it needed.

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Damai Janda Baik with our family! We absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings, and having the river right in front of the house made the experience even more special. The tiny house concept is also really unique and charming. Everything you need for cooking or having a BBQ is provided, so you pretty much just need to bring your own charcoal. It was very convenient for us, especially since we were staying with family. The only issue we experienced was that, due to the heavy rain, the water supply suddenly stopped around 5 AM. Unfortunately, we really needed to use the bathroom at that time, so we had to collect water from the river and use it temporarily. However, the staff were extremely helpful and responsive. They came as early as 7 AM to resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. Despite that little hiccup, we genuinely enjoyed our vacation here. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and unique tiny house experience made it a memorable stay for our family. We would definitely come back again! ❤️
